Im mailing a package roughly 7-8 ounces. How many stamps will I need?

Im sending a videogame in a large yellow envelope. I measured it on my scale as 6 and a half ounces. Anyone know rates for stamps?

go to www.usps.com, and click on Calculate Postage.

I checked for 1st Class Mail for 6 ounces it's $2.02 (you will need five regular 42-cent stamps).

For 7 ounces it's $2.19.  You will need six stamps.

For 8 ounces, it's $2.36.  Six stamps will work here too.

These prices are good for any destination in the USA.  You don't need to go to the post office - just drop the item in a Blue Mailbox or you can go to the post office if you want to.

If you go to the post office, you don't need to put stamps on it.. just give them the money, and they will put a label on the envelope.

If you ship Priority Mail, it will cost you $4.80 and  you should go to the post office to mail a Priority Package.

EDIT - MAKE SURE YOU USE A PADDED ENVELOPE, OR YOUR VIDEO GAME WILL BE DESTROYED.
