Im moving out on the 18th and the estate agents have given me a quote for content's insurance?

Is this for the Landlord's items or my own? Im not sure what Im actually being quoted for?? Can anyone help??

  1. if it is a furnished property it is probably the landlords stuff. i would of thought that contents insurance is for the whole contents though irrespective of whose they are. i would check with them and ask exactly what is covered. you don't have to get insurance through them though. shop around but use their quote as a guide


  2. if its a mind of furnished property then its a stuff related to the landlord. If have any contact details then you may contact them for better clarification of the exact quote.

  3. You better see an insurance agent.   They can sell you renters insurance which cover your contents.   Real estate agents do not have insurance licenses, generally.

    See a licensed insurance agent for some quotes or call some insurance agents for some quotes for renters insurance.   Unless, your buying a home, then you need homeowners insurance.
