Im moving to north carolina and im going into high school what are the kids back thier like?

i go to school here its not so bad- but i  would like to disagree- there ARE A TON of rednecks :) especially in my area :)

my aunt took my cousins there to live when they were 10.

ive gone and visited and kids there have nothing to do sometimes.

so they just ride around if they have cars..or hang out at ppls houses.

its not biggie. its safe out there.

well..Raliegh is the place that they stay at.

What part of NC are you moving to?  Personally I think most high schools here are like any other high schools.  My husband is a HS English teacher, and things haven't changed much regarding the students themselves since we went there.  There ARE emo and goth kids.  You won't find too many gangsta type kids in certain areas, because, to put it bluntly, there aren't enough black kids to make up that kind of a group.  Contrary to popular belief, not all North Carolinians are racist hicks.  We have great schools with faults just like any other state.
