  1. The coutryside :)  I live in Yorkshire and it's amazing here, the hills in the sunlight are a heavenly sight to behold.  Then again, you need to ask yourself if you are a city person or a country person?  I hate cities and had some of my worst living experiences in places like London, Wolverhampton, Birmingtham etc.  I was born in Surrey which is a very rural, middle class area, and as such i have always been a country girl.

There are lots and lots of lovely places in england, from the historic towns and cities with their castle ruins and origional 300 year old buildings still in use, to the snow capped mountains and hills of Wales, to the flat moorland of Devon, Exmoor and Cornwalll, with their roaming wild horses.

An easier way of going about this would be to write down a list of everything you would love to have in a place that you live.  For me it's historic buildings, countryside, being able to go horse riding, nice resataurants for a night out and somewhere close that i can go to a cinema, theatre etc.  I have all this in Yorkshire (I live in Halifax).  Once you have your list, if you like, feel free to send me a mail and I'll see if i can help you out further :)

    Good luck!

  2. Newquay for the surf, about the best in this country. Not sure on work in Cornwall though, it's miles from anywhere! There are big companies down there you could try though.

  3. you should move to southampton.

  4. the best place i found for surf is croyde bay in north devon but live in west sussex its a fair treck but its worth it as the surf near me is nearly always flat

  5. essex,(graze, or chelmsfrord)

    london

    manchester

    durby

  6. Move to cornwall. Awesome for surfing plenty of beaches but work could cause problems. Best of luck.

  7. croyde bay

    uk

    cornwall

    best surfing place in england

  8. cornwall is the best place

    then devon

then tiree up in the north of scotland

  9. west wales

  10. Cornwall, devon, wales and scotland have the best surf of the UK.

For Cornwall like my good self you want as far west as you can get really. Newquay is not a good place, only good for tourists who do not know there aSss from elbow. There are good shops and great shapers there but other than that it is just a town with connections. Average surf. But it depends on what you are...are you a person who loves the scene more than surf or the other way round?

IT Tech's will find work all over Cornwall and Truro is the biggest town (kinda capital). Remember Cornwall is small and getting around is easy by car so there is a lot on offer.

Job's do not pay as well in Cornwall, but then saying that for IT qualifications you might be surprised, in general though it is a lower band of pay.

Not sure on House prices etc.   but i have always paid between £75 & £110 per week on house-share in Newquay.

Cornwall is the home of British surfing my friend.

  11. you should gome down here and melo with us dude at the Tipton we have like food dude and like drinks to and we have killer waves dude so dude like lata.

  12. cornwall or wales is the best for surfing and since your an it techinition there should be plently of jobs for you.
