Im nervous for the track meet plz help?

i was in cross country and my coaches are expecting me to do a mile. im doing it tommarow for the meet. there expecting a 5:00-5:15 mile. im in 8th grade (boy) plz help to calm me down

  1. if ur coaches believe u can do it, u must be great. just remember that whatever u run they shuld be happy with. u still got time to become a big star, ur only in 8th grade. just have fun, that's what running is supposed to be about

  4. You are good enough to be on your cross country team, If you weren't you would not be there..think positive . Remember you are just as good if not better than the guys on the competing teams....There is always someone that is 1st, and someone that is last, just do your best..go for it and good luck..

  5. The best way to keep calm before a big event is to not to think about the event. I usually just look forward to when it's over and I don't have to run or I think about winning that giant trophy and being better at running than everyone else! Also keeping your mind busy like reading or watching a movie can distract you from a stressful situation.
