Im never gonna grow!

Question

ive been 4'10 for a year now i had my bones x rayed and everything and the doctor didnt call so i suppose nothing was wrong but i just wanan grow! im 13 and not even 5 ft! I DONT WANNA BE SHORT ANYMORE

Bless your heart.  Have you been crying to Mama?  If you have a little more patience & stop worrying over things you have no control over - your height will more than likely increase - since you've got at least 7 more years of growth potential ahead of you.  Today's youth have no patience - they want everything done like yesterday.  If you can hang in there just a little bit longer - I'm sure you will see some changes forthcoming.

It's nothing to worry about, if your parents are tall you will be about their height. Many people start growing at different ages. My dad was maybe about 5' 2" until sophmore and junior year and then he shot up as opposed to me that i shot up at your age. It's all just going to happen, don't fret about it. Eventually you can call the people who call you shrimp shrimp themselves.

no worries mate. im 13, and im 5'11.

but i know kids that are 4'8.

I was a late bloomer.  No pubes until 16.  At 18, I was 5'4" tall.  The next year, I grew 7" and am now taller than the rest of my family.  

If the doctors aren't doing anything to jump-start your growth, they must feel that you are on schedule for YOUR development cycle.  Try to be patient.  

It will all work out in the end and being a late starter does have it's benefits.  As you get older, you will have a more youthful appearance than others your age - I promise that will be a good thing.  It worked out for me and I have no doubt it'll work out for you.  I know it's frustrating, but try to be patient.
