IT WILL HAVE A SCANNER WHICH I WANT TO USE! my question is -Will i be able to take a photo from my photo album & scan it to the computer so i can use the picture for making a photo cd movie? thanks

Yes you can do that, but you will need other software to make it into a movie???  You will need something like Windows Movie Maker and a lot of pictures to make a movie.  Maybe it is just a photo cd you are asking about?  These can be played back on any home dvd player but again you will need other software to do that.
