I’m not looking for any cricket-related role, says http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Inzamam-ul-Haq-c64383 – Cricket News Update
Inzamam-ul-Haq, the former captain of Pakistan cricket team, has sidelined himself from the game that once meant the whole world to him and the cricketer does not have any plans of returning anytime soon.
The former captain in an interview said that he is not interested in occupying any cricket-related role in Pakistan, at least for now. The big Inzi feels that he has already played his role in serving his country; however, the
former cricketer expressed that currently he has to attend to some personal matters but he’ll be available if his country requires him in the near future.
“I’m least interested in finding any role in cricket at any level. I have already served http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 cricket a lot. This does not mean I have entirely ruled out any future association with cricket but right now due to my personal
circumstances I’m not looking for any cricket-related role,” said Inzamam.
Most formal cricketers in Pakistan have kept their association with the sport in one way or the other, but Inzamam has hardly come into any limelight ever since he hanged up his boots in 2007.
Inzi, who never was a people’s person, asserts that disparaging someone is not his style. The 41-year-old also revealed that his love for cricket is not the same, as he is busy in handling his business and does not get time to
see what’s going around in the world of cricket.
Inzamam said, “I’m not the kind of person who loves to criticise the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) or any other individual in the media. I’m retired now and busy managing my construction business so I don’t normally follow cricket
anymore. My passion for the game has faded to some extent.”
When asked why he is not giving his views on his team’s progress, Inzamam said that Pakistan touring Zimbabwe does not interest him, as the Africans are not the kind of opponents that pose any threat, plus there are so many new
faces in greens outfits, ones he has never seen before, so commenting about them is not possible.
The Men in Green have got off to a winning start on their tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Zimbabwe-c3045, dominating the only Test match by seven wickets. Zimbabwe however, will look to avenge the defeat in ODI’s which are scheduled to start from Thursday,
September 8 with a game at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo.
