Hello

i had a child hood toy dog spaniel named bernie, it had a button tale, i played with it, over the years it made holes, lost bits of fur and stretch out, later it fell of, i keep it and play with it, just fiddle with it, i love it so much, it gives me comfort and happyness, it made the skin on my thumbs push back so now its not a half circle shape its a full circle!a friend got hold of it and i screamed at her, i was really scared for it.

im just wondering... if people out there think im crazy, or weird, or need help, i cant part with it, PLEASE HELP

  1. hi guys this is the friend she screamed at,lol im mia!

she is sooo wierd she like goes crazy over it, it is soooo funny, dont say that is mean, coz she just does it to be funny, but she does love it,but when we say we will rip it she screams, but she is only jokeing lol!

anyway i have tryed to make her chuck it in the bin, but KAT aka flicka is my bffl, so if she doesnt want to i dont, make her. kat can you write in more details that i am actally the friend you screamed at so that they believe me!!!!!!

OK GUYS SHE LOVES IT SOOOOOO MUCH THAT BIT OF MATERIAL! dont you think it is abit wierd, i meen she said she would kick me and slap me if i ripped it ect!

GUYS THIS IS WEIRED, she is my bestie and i love her but, she said she would SLAP AND KICK ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. You say that you "can't" part with it?  Are you saying that you have tried?  You obviously have a need for it or you wouldn't still have it, right?  Maybe when you find a human that fills that gap, or something that is genuinely alive, you won't be so obsessed with it, at this point, I can't see what your keeping it is hurting, other than your own self image.  I would think that something that has disfigured the skin on your thumbs might need to be "retired", I dunno.

  3. odd behaviour, isn't that like what serial killers do...before they become..serial killers?

  4. LOL I have a blanket that I've had ever since I was a baby.  I was really attached to it during childhood, and I'd even get mad if my mom washed it because then it didn't smell familiar!  It has, since I was 10 or so, lived in a pillowcase, as it is now all but shreds.  But let me tell you, I'd be super-ticked if someone  threw it out.  I keep thinking that I will do something with the remants of it someday (but seeing as how I am not a sewer or a quilter, I have no clue what).  So...I guess your problem is similar, right?  Put it in a box somewhere if you're troubled by your constant fiddling with it.

  5. okayyyyyyyyy

    ur just stupid girl!

  6. this is the wrong section....

but anyway its fine! i have had a puffalump horse since i was born and havent parted with it! people ask what it is because we have had to sew him up so many times. he was losing legs and what little stuffing was left so i put him in his own special bag. The point is, there are somethings people dont want to part with! who says you have to anyway?

  7. i dont think you have a mental problem. but if it gives you happyness why not play with it?

but if it makes you scream at your friend because she touched it then just cool down. count slooooooooooooowly down from 10.
