Im off to Uni and I need help with family? 10 points

So im going off in late sep but im not sure how everything's gonna plan out before i leave.

Whatever people see when you first arrive leaves an impression. Well i dont want make a good one. When I get there it will just be me, my mom and sister. I have the option (or so i would like to think) of taking my dad. The thing is we havent spoken since Jan and I havent seen him since then. He never helped me get there and a part of me feels like he doesnt have the right to be there. But im thinking its going to look bad if only 3 of us turn up, I just know how its going to be.

Also he might be really mean and not turn up idk. There really arent any other options and this is kind of a big deal.

Should I ask him to come?

take ur dad but i think it's better to take whole family but why can't you leave alone?

It won't look bad if it is just you, your Mom and sister...why include your Dad if he's not part of it and hasn't contributed to it?  There are lots of families like yours...your university friends will accept you as you are...don't try to be someone your are not...

If you have asked your father to come and he does not, then its his loss and not yours.

The best thing you can take from his absence is to rember the feelings you went through and not let your children in years to come, go through what you had to.

Do what your heart fills and not what other people say to you. If not bringing your dad is the first thing that comes to your mind when you think about it then that's what it is.

Going to Uni is about you ok it can be heart breaking for you to turn up without dad but hey he does what he wants right, if you want a male there to act as your dad to make you guys look complete then hire an escort for the event............. just do what you got to do GLuck.
