Im off to spain what is the smoking policy in this counrty?

You can smoke in most bars and restaurants but smoking in other public buildings is prohibited. There are signs in all public buildings which tell you whether you can smoke or not. Be careful! If you are caught smoking in a no smoking building or zone, its an on-the-spot €60 fine!
