i was an immagrnt to the uk nd currently have a visa and a britsh pasport, i really want to visit australia but i dont want to wait 5 years till i get the british citezen ship. i was wondering what is the best way to get a visa for austalia..a visit or work

  1. Depends which country you are from, as having a visa for the UK is only good for the UK:

    it has a list of which countries can apply for a 3 month holiday visa to enter australia. Perhaps your country is on the list?

You will find it much easier to get a visa to visit Australia than to get one to go to the U.S.  See site below for information on getting a visa to visit Australia.  You would need to contact the American embassy to get info to apply for a visa to visit America, but I can tell you , it is a much longer and difficult process.    So visit Australia now, and after you become a British citizen you can visit America without a visa.
