Question:

Im on a search for my biological father's family?

I've never meet him, nor do I have much information about him. I have some basic information (his name and online jail records (hah), for example). But other than that I have nothing.

I'm not necessarily interested in meeting him, but more so his family, and other children if he has any. Does any one know how and where I'd be able to start this search?

Any insight would be extremely helpful.

  1. If he is still alive, none of the online genealogy sites will be much help.  Talking to a relative is probably your best bet.

  2. Hi there are a couple of things you can do... First try Mellissa data put his name in and the state you believe him to be in and it will show you a list of ppl with that name in the areas you listed it will show possible relatives with in some cases ages and states he has lived in and possible roomates ... If you find something on there that interests you go to Zaba search and do the same there just so you have a cross reference... Then you can go to the white pages and do a # number search ... You might just get lucky ..If you have free long distance on your phone call them all you never kbnow who's going to answer... Good luck
