  1. my back hurts when i sit or stand for to long and im 19, i dont no why because i seem to be average in everything and started working out about 6 months ago but it hasnt helped my back pain (only in the lower part) or made it worse.i have had back problems for about 3 yrs but it may have been longer i dont really remember. couldnt tell u what its from but if u ever ask a doctor seriously tell me what they said

  2. I work on the computer all day, and my back was a wreck before as well, and I'm only 18. I just started looking up back stretches on Youtube and some yoga techniques and it did wonders.

  3. Many back specialists believe the best remedy for general back pain is to walk more.  If you're always playing xbox, many of the muscles in your back are becoming weak. Walking strengthens those minor muscles and your back regains its health.  I recommend taking a walk everyday for a week.  If you don't see tremendous improvement, you need to go to a doctor.

  4. You need to see a Physician to make a determination of why your back is hurting.  You could have a pinched nerve, you could have a protruding disc. or many other things.  There is no one  cure for all back problems, the exercises will be determined by the evaluation.. You should not have growing pain in your back unless another problem exists.

The fact you are only 16 has nothing to do with potential back problems as this malady affects more men than any other problem.

  5. One of the best ways to get your back into shape is to tone the stomach muscles. I had a Dr. tell me this once, and it really is the truth in many cases. Lose weight if you need to, then work on toning the abs, which will strengthen the back muscles too.
