Im opening a <span title="daycare/childcare/preschool">daycare/childcare/prescho...</span> next year. can i call it a preschool? for instance ms amys preschool

i want to name it "ms amys preschool" am i allowed to name it that or does it have to be a registered private preschool or such for me to name it a "preschool". i will be offering services to parents with children 3-5 yrs old. thanks.....

I don&#039;t see why not.  As long as you&#039;re offering set lesson plans for the children, and not just a daycare.  Community centers open their own preschools without having any type of certification all the time.  Who knows!  Maybe one day you&#039;ll want to think about becoming NAEYC (National association for the education of young children) accredited once you&#039;ve been in the business for a few years.  

    Although, rules and regulations may vary from state to state.  I would ask around different childcare/preschools in your area.
