  1. You look just like Chipmaker.

  2. you're not just going to go out and run X miles and then be ready to play baseball.  start playing period . . . there are lots of others in similar condition.  separately, make a point of exercising EVERY DAY for at least 1/2 hour.  3 days/week will be aerobic - running, swimming, jogging, etc, and 4 days a week will be weight training.  this isn't to make you buff but to tone the flab so your body works better all around - you'll burn more calories, sleep better, have more energy.  get started today.

  3. push yourself run as much as you can w/ out walking. I'm playing football right now and our team runs around a baseball field 7 times. THATS HARD!! So the point, if you can't do it then this answer isn't helping you and if you can well good job and good luck!!

  4. No more than 2 or 3 miles a workout. The only running you do in baseball is sprint from base to base so concentrate on sprinting 100ft lengths at a time to help you get faster.

  5. it does not matter how out of shape you are. Either you can or can not play baseball.

You may want to get in shape just because. If you are really obese, you should run about 5000 miles. actually, run that many miles anyway, so you dont have the time to put any more questions like this one on here

  6. I was a pretty good pitcher in high school and just as part of our conditioning we ran at least two miles a day.It would just make it easier to gut out those last few innings.
