others have said i dont need the £2000 if i have a return ticket? pls help im very confused ha ha thanks guys! any other info is also very welcome thanks

sheesh, most aussies dont have 2 grand in the bank and they live here !

i dont think its correct, best to talk to the  australian consulate in your country, you will need permission to work here tho its called a work visa

Why would you need the money in the bank?   Or a return ticket for that matter?

Excuse me, but I think you're in the wrong forum. I've noticed people confuse Austria for Australia. Austria is a German-like country, in Europe, and Australia is located in Oceania.

You need someone who will guarantee that should your funds run out you will not scrounge of the country you are visiting & will be able to support yourself for as long as you are there, it`s basically the same for any country apparently except it appears G.B!
