  1. Do a luao - limbo contest, interpretive hula contest (break into groups, hula tells a story - the best interpretation of your chosen song wins) do a relay race with a beachball between your knees (hilarious - and not easy to do)

  2. beaches are free

  3. Is there a pool?  Also, what are the ages of the guests?  I'd suggest water balloons, bunches of them.  Tell guests to please bring beach towels.    Have a sand-castle building contest using Legos or building blocks.  (You could do these activities with people of all ages.)  Also, roast hot dogs and make somores preferably over an open fire.  Stick beverages in ice chests.  Spread blankets on the ground.  Play music.  Set up a volley ball net.  Play Frisbee.  Make homemade icecream.

  4. Go to a party supply store, they usually have lots of stuff for a beach theme inexpensively.  Also borrow or rent a volleyball net, do hot dogs, easy stuff.  Have a fire, some tiki torches.
