YES, please ! if you grand for EPEC, you allow to stay here max one years to look for jobs, and very easy to get EP if some once which to hire you.

If you plan to go to Singapore in March 2009, it is too early if you apply for an EPEC now.  If you apply for EPEC now and it gets approved, you will receive your EPEC via postal mail in 3-4 weeks.  Since EPEC has a validity period of up to 1 year, when you go to Singapore in March, you will only have a few months to use your EPEC.  Best to apply 1-2 months before your trip especially if you still have to look for prospective employers.
