  1. Nobody needs a Visa to enter Mexico. We are a free open country and you are very welcome, you will enjoy and be greeted as everybody else is.

    Bienvenido

  2. Well pack your bags and get set to have some fun!!!   As mentioned, no visa is required nor should you concern yourself with that conviction issue.   I have a felony conviction in the US and have never had any problems with Mexican customs agents and I have been traveling there for the past 12 years....

  3. Irish citizens do not need a visa to visit Mexico.  If you plan to travel to Mexico as a tourist, you will get a tourist card on the airplane for about 200 pesos.  If you wanted to IMMIGRATE or apply a residence visa, then you would have a problem.  But as a tourist, you should have no problem.  There are no restrictions mentioned on the Mexican embassy website or visa information site  concerning tourist cards.  I know people with a conviction in their past who have come as tourists with no problem.

  4. does your criminal record say that you are an IRA soldier?

If not I think that you shouln't have any problem either to travel as a tourist, or to apply for a resident visa.

    Be welcome to Mexico mate!
