  1. Despite our highly enlightened society, most professional settings frown upon visible tattoos.  I would encourage you to have your ink done in a place that is coverable by your clothing for the purposes of work.

  2. Dress for success. thats what you need to think when you try for the job you want. say you are trying to be a lawyer you cant wear things like mini skirts(for a girl) or baggy jeans and a skull hoodie(for guys). but i guess that dress might be ok if plan to become manager at mcdonalds. so when you get this tatoo pick a place maybe on your ankle, or somewhere easily hidden. also, you want to avoid naked women, and other inaproprite things like that. but really in all,  you want to think of where you want to end up in the future, how you see yourself. rich and profesional doing the thing you do best, or the minimum wage job at walmart. thats what you really have to think about before you get this tatoo because yes, tatoos are cool, but really they do determine your future.

  3. If it's clearly visible in short-sleeved shirts, an employer (if they hire you) will have the right to request that you wear long-sleeved shirts to cover it up.  My husband has a tattoo, but it's on his upper arm and easily covered by even short-sleeved shirts so he doesn't have a problem.

  4. majority of the jobs u apply for have rules about piercing and  tattoos.even hair dyes, U have to keep it or them covered at all times when on the job. If they see it during an interview, don't look for a call from them.

  5. just get you v***a tattooed!

  6. you'd be surprised how many employers would turn you down because of a tattoo.  it depends on the field of work you're going into, but it'll hurt your chances.

  7. Most places dont lijke it.......unless you want to work someplace where you wont have a great opportunity tyo advance.  If you came to ,y office, i wouldnt hire you.

  8. Beyond the negative effect on a job interview, think about how you'll feel about a tat when you're 60.

  9. Don't let a decision you make when you're young, affect you when you get older. Live for tomorrow, tattoos may look cool now, but they won't when you're 50 and you're trying to get that CEO position.

Let that be something to think about.

  10. Since tattoos are becoming more common I don't think it would have a huge effect on your job unless your considering a really superior job I guess, you should check out some places and just ask there opinion on tattoos.
