The former Serie A Young Footballer of the Year has remarked on his season so far and stated that this has to be the best season he has played so far in the Lega.

There have been offers from across the continent; however, the player
has pledged his allegiance with the Partenopei outfit by stating that he is extremely motivated to help the club bring back their glory days.
Furthermore, he went on to remark that the Vesuviani outfit were the ones who wanted him with most desperation and he is hoping to repay the faith shown in him by the club. He was quoted to have said:
“I believe that this is my best campaign up until this point of my career. I’m scoring a lot of goals, but I’m also doing well thanks to the work of the whole side. I’m happy to be at Napoli where we are re-writing history,” added the former Brescia youngster.
“This is the club who wanted me the most and we still have a lot to do and win.”
Hamsik has scored seven goals in the Lega so far, just two short of his tally of last year.
