Im pregnant and my childs father and I arent speaking right now, should I give him a Father's day Gift?

Eventhough he didnt get me anything for mother's day, I want to get him something for fathers day. I think this small act would encourage him to be more active at this point in my pregnancy and for the babys entire life. It would also allow him to see that I am not a total B***ch. It would also help us smooth things over. So, should I get him anything and what should it be besides a card.

If you have already had an ultrasound, why not give him something along the lines of a framed picture, keychain or any of the personalized items you can get done at a one-hour-photo place.  If you don't have a digital version of it, they can scan it for you and make a nice gift.

If you have it on tape or DVD, a copy of that.  

Be proud of yourself for taking the high road.  It is the only way to be truly happy.

It's good that you're being the bigger person yeah you could get him a card and maybe a gift certificate for a store he shops in.

I think that is an awesome idea =o-). Especially if you arent on good terms right now. I think a card would be fine but if you wanted to get him something else giftwise I would keep it simple and all fathers day related like a cool #1 dad coffee mug or Something baby related for him to keep at his house if you dont plan on staying together when the baby comes. I know it sounds kind of corny but Some guys really like it. Good luck =-)

You sound as if you are being the bigger person in the situation. :) You could get him a card and maybe a small gift card from some place he likes. . maybe a restaurant or a store where he likes. I know a lot of guys like Best Buy gift cards so they can get music or movies or something.

as for chosin tha gift...well, it should be somthin he really needs or wants, somthin you noticd him complainin about tha last time you were talkin

a thoughtful gift like that should encourage a more positive relationship between you 2 and more importantly it can do alota good for your baby

Get him a card to break the ice. If the effect is good, then take him out to eat, that's always a good atmosphere to be in to work things out.

You are so nice. Yes, get him a present to show that you love the relationship. Get something that relate to his hobby or job so he can use it daily. Size dosen't matter.
