  1. The minute they are born you figure it out, no instructions needed

  2. when the baby is borne something inside you kicks in and you become maternal . then day by day it gets easier . alto comes naturally and the rest ... well there is always some old lady in the store ore on the bus they will have there say and sometimes it is useful

  3. The best advice i was given when pregnant with my first born, was that babies dont come with an instruction manual, they arent going to know if you put it on crooked!

Your natural instinct will kick in, if not straight away, that is what the nurses are there for to guide you in your way.

    Relax and enjoy your pregnancy!

  4. It will come naturally don't worry, and there are people in the hospital etc to help and guide you, i think all first time mothers have this fear and at the end of the day there are no text books saying you should do it this way or that way, we learn as we go along, it will all fall into place don't worry.

  5. don't worry about it it will come naturally to you once your baby is here

don't really think anyone can tell you what to do as every baby is different and your motherly instinct will tell you what to do.

  6. I'm sure you will be fine - most things you just pick up as you go along.  Why don't you go and buy a pack of newborn (size 1) nappies and practise?  They are very straightforward - the part with the cartoon on it is the front and the part with the two sticky tabs is the back.  You basically open up the nappy, lay it out, lie the baby down on it, bring the front part up between the baby's legs and then secure it with the sticky tabs that are on the back of the nappy.  Simple!  Good luck!

  7. Lol calm down, everything will be ok, you will get your mother instincts, and there are lots of books, websites, and people that have been there and done that that you can talk to, including your doctor.

  8. If this is your first baby you will be nervous like every new mun out there.

I had younger brothers that I used to look after, but when it came to me having my daughter everything I remembered from looking after my brothers went straight out the window.

Remember this as a new mum you will learn, and there is classes out there to help you can even ask the midwives at the hospital to help. They will be glad to show how to change a nappy, bath a baby anything you need to know.

Just don't be scared to ask, we was not born knowing how to look after a baby.

  9. Trial and Error!  thats how everything is as a new mother.  The first time i put a diaper on my daughter it leaked all over everything.  really you would have to have someone show you, its kind of hard to explain.

And the things you forgot will come to you.  Its weird when you become a mother, you just know what to do by instinct.  Good luck, and try to have a friend or someone you know show you how to correctly put on a diaper.  Im sure you will have a few leaks here and there, we all do, but maybe a friend could help.

  10. Don't worry, it's not stupid.  I hadn't a clue when I had my son either but most things are either easy to figure out or there are instructions.  Nurses will tell you how to change a nappy but most of it's common sense, and nappy packages usually have easy to follow picture instructions on them.

  11. Hun when the baby is born, you will get used to it. Look at alot of males, they have never changed a nappy before they become daddy's yet, alot look like pro's at it :)

When your at the hospital, ask all you have too, and you will realize that it will all come flooding back :)

    Good luck and congrats

  12. It may help you to buy pregnancy magazines and books etc. I like the book 'conception, pregnancy and birth' by Miriam stoppard, I think the new edition is on offer at the mo in Tesco for £11. Or go to a bookshop like Waterstones, they will have a whole section of parenting books. You can spend your evenings curled up reading about your new bubba! Congrats!

  13. ur motherly instincts will come out and things u thought u didnt know, u will know. believe I thought I didnt know how do alot and I did and my son is the greatest thing in the world! Good luck and congrats!

  14. You will work it out. No one really knows, i dont know at all how to put a babies nappy on, but im sure i will work it out.

  15. Its perfectly normal to feel stressed about not knowing how to do everything perfect.... To be honest Ive never once changed a baby, and Ive only held a baby once in my life so I'm very nervous lol. I know that the motherly instinct will kick in though, and I'm also going to go to some classes before my little one arrives so I will know some what of what I'm doing. Good luck to you and I hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy.

  16. theres alot i dont know what to do either as its my first pregnancy. but go to pregnancy classes.

  17. dont worry.. i dont think any first time mother knows wat to do.... thats why they have birthing classes.. you will do that if you want  at the end of your pregnacy.. good luck

  18. You can go to parenting classes before the baby arrives. But, I was pretty young with my first one and I figured it out with good ole trial and error. I'm sure you will do fine.
