  1. I would say its maybe a little bit of a big gap.

My daughter is 13 months and i think she gets bored sometimes cause she has no1 to play with. when her cousin comes round who is 7 months older she just lightens up and is all full of smiles and laughter.

Im pregnant with #2 due 7/3/09, we planned close together so they both would be able to play and grow up together.

At the end of the day you are the only one to decide if you left a bit gap between having your children :)

  2. no u waited till you were ready to have a baby, the main thing to remeber is to not leave the 7 year old out, me and my younger brother are 8 years apart and i feel like as soon as he was born i was left on my own

  3. It's actually a pretty big age gap, but if you were waiting til you were ready for a 2nd kid then good decision :-). My sister & I are 17 months apart and my little brother and I are 4 years apart... My sis and I are definately closer than my brother and I are.

  4. Not at all.

I was coming up 4 years old when my first sister was born, so a 7 year gap sounds fine.

  5. NO, that's a good age spread to have. The 7 yr old will be able to do more tohelp you and the baby. Only problems will come when the 7 yr old is 14 and the youngest is 7. The 14 yr old will want moreprivacy while the 7 yr old will want to do what the older one is doing, then you will have the agruments.

  6. no she need a play mate

  7. Seven years difference? Lol, no, I wouldn't say that's too small a difference in age.

  8. my step daughter was 7 when I had my daughter, shes a great help, like a little mini mama. (sometimes shes too helpful) then  I thought, when my step daughter is 20 and out of her teens, my daughter will be 13 and we will start all over again! oh well, Id rather have them far apart than to have 2 babies 11 months apart!

  9. no, im preg with my third, im 24 my first has just turned 2, my second just turned 1. and this one is due xmas day!

  10. no, theyre kinda far apart..but if you waited in order to get ready, than thats a good thing

  11. Of course not! Me and my sister are 2 1/2 years apart. My father is the youngest in a family of 7, and his youngest sibling is 12 years older then him! His eldest brother is about 30 years older than him, and they get along very well! Good luck! Hope I could help! <3

  12. No, definitely not. My friend is 1 year apart with her sister and my other friend is 3 years apart with her brother. I am 2 years apart from my sister lol

    Goooooooooooooooooooood luck!

  13. As young as you are I would say Nope you did it just right. I had my first at 20 and my second at 23. Now I am older and getting more tired daily due to demands of career etc. BUT my kids are older and more capable of doing a lot for themselves. I have friends in their mid 30's with 3 year olds, and they don't have the energy to really play with their kids like I did in my 20's. Now that you have your second one on the way. Don't plan on anymore.

It is expensive to raise children more so than when we were growing up, and unless you are independently wealthy having a van load of children, in my opinion, is irresponsible. Everyone can have kids, but to raise them and be able to send them to college so they have a fighting chance is not so easy.

  14. Having the 1st at 17 and the 2nd at 24, 7 years is actually too far apart.  The 1st will be graduating from high school when the 2nd is finishing 6th grade!!!!/

  15. no 7 yrs are verry good there is the same difference between my bro and me and we used get sad rarely when we were kids and my 2 cuzins have a 10 yrs age difference and i still remember... they were allways sad together
