Does anyone have any ideas of how I could make this work in the bucket, what a good recipe is with the things I listed & if this sounds like it could work, and be a good idea!?! Please someone I need some ideas..... Good recipe, will it work and is it a good idea??!!?

Thanks in advance- Please no websites with recipes I've tried them all and am not interested in them... I want home aid recipes that you have tried. THANKS!!!

  1. Just use the chocolate pudding and do it this way

    Pail of Sand Cake

1 baked 8-inch round cake (any flavor desired)

    1 new plastic beach pail

1 small box vanilla pudding (prepared)

    1 cup crushed graham crackers

    Shell-shaped candies

    Candy rocks

    Paper umbrellas

Plastic shovel (usually comes with pail)

Cut the cake into 1-inch slices. Fit the slices into the pail, alternating layers of cake with pudding and ending with pudding. Sprinkle the crushed cookie sand on top. Decorate with candies, umbrellas, etc. Use the plastic shovel as a serving "spoon."

  2. I would layer the pudding, whipped cream,  and oreo crumbs- to give it a little more stability you could add a layer of mini marshmallows. So, pudding, whipped cream, crumbs, marshmallows- I'd continue with this and save the gummy worms for the top as decorations.

  3. well what i would personally do is make brownies and crush it all and use that as dirt and add some crushed oreos to that, probably half a pack, and mix those together with gummy worms. put all of that in a plastic bucket. to serve i would put it in plastic cups..or maybe you could find mini plastic buckets and put a dollop of vanilla pudding on top.

  4. My sister made it once, and she did the basic recipe and I'm sure she used the items that you used to make the dessert but I remember her using a clay pot and lining the pot with clean, new, split open freezer bags, then she mixed the stuff, put it in the pot, then I think she put brand new fake flowers in it. I can't remember if she made them using felt/pipe cleaners/construction paper, or if she just bought them and stuck them in. I was little and I remember it looking cute and liking it so much! She made it for a function, and I wanted some out of the pot, but all she could give me was some out of the bowl into my own bowl! It was good!

  5. I make this all the time.  My brothers love it and request it at every family function we have...and we're all adults!!

    You need:

    1 package Oreo cookies

1/2 cup of Nestle Quik Powder - NOT cocoa powder

chocolate pudding made according to package directions

    large tub of whipped cream

    gummi worms

Crush your oreos, place in a large bag and mix with the nestle powder...this makes your dirt...

Layer the remaining ingredients in your bowl...the more layers you make the prettier it is...I put mine in clear trifle bowl.

The clay pots sound awesome, but I would line them with something like a ziploc bag...

    easy peezy!
