There is a Hispanic Heritage Month, just like there is a Black History Month. It is Sept 15 to October 15. Go to your school's principal or school counsel & tell them you think this month should focus on hispanic studies. It won't be all puerto rican but it will include puerto rican & all other hispanic ethnicities to be fair. You can even make a petition & have other students sign it just to show that others are interested as well.
