okay the carpet of my bedroom is like navy blue but a little bit brighter; my bed is purple green and blue with grey pillows; my curtains are navy blue but i was thinking of getting them replaced; my computer is black; and my furniture is tan. do you have any ideas on what color i should paint the walls, or if i should do more than one color what colors? they are currently seafoam green its like light breen and aqua mixed together but its even brighter and i hate it becasue it looks like theres no color to it. and im not emo or anything like that so black is not gonna go well with me. or gray haha.

  1. Green would be my choice, but if you like a change, check out shades of blue or even something in the purples, like a lilac or lavendar. A nuetral off white/tan is also a good choice.

  2. If you wanna get funky, then you might try a bright green like "green acres" (# S-G-440) by Behr or a bright pink like "Fuchsia Kiss" (# 100B-6).  If you want something a little more subtle, then you might consider a blue like "brilliant sea" (# 520B-6) or "purple silhouette" (# 650D-6).

  3. maybe you could paint one of the walls a light blue or lavender and others in something like light tan or cream.  i like when the walls are not all the same color.  the wall that is by the bed can be much lighter to make your bedding pop and the smaller walls can be a lighter shade of pop color.

  4. by what you said you probably like to mix colors so try a navy blue but a little lightish. if it was me i would paint them white the most simple color or tan lol hope you decide.

  5. I'm picturing a medium to light blue with a greyish tint. Remember that a darker color will make the room seem smaller, and lighter color will make it feel more open. Honestly I hate the idea of matching your wall to your curtains and bed fabrics because it's much easier to match fabrics to a wall color. But if you want to do more than one, consider going to Lowe's or someplace like that. They usually have paint swatches that also list coordinating colors. (For trim and such.) That might be a good starting place.
