i juss bought an xm radfio and i was wondering if u could juss pay monthly instead of paying for the whole year or can i just pay like every couple of months because everybody i have talked too says i have to pay foe the hole year and i really dont want to

yes you can make  12 payments or 4 payments or 1 payment  a year

the best option is to make one payment a year you get 1 or 2 months free  so there  is 14 months in one year payment
