  1. Okay, first thing you need to realise is you're not weird, there's nothing at all wrong with you. You are in fact, the exact replica of myself when I was younger. I was convinced I was hideous, no-one would ever love me, I wanted to diet when I actually really didn't! We'll start with the ugly issue. I know what it's like for people to say you're not ugly, and to think, "Oh they're only saying that to make me feel better." Think about it - it's unlikely. Not many people will lie to your face and if they did, you can usually tell by the look on their face. I really don't recommend you putting your picture on here either, saying, "Please rate me!" because you've seen what people can be like, people get nasty, leaving you feeling worse than you did before! As I say, I used to be convinced I was ugly. I asked people and thought they were lieing. I think the best thing for you is to sit it out. I went through all the time from thirteen to sixteen thinking I was ugly but I experimented with hairdyes and got a good colour for me. Go on the virtual hairstyles websites and try different hairstyles on yourself and find a good look for you. One thing - you have to stop wearing make-up when you go to sleep. Every night you keep that makeup on, you age a day. Add it all up and by fourty, you ain't looking so pretty! At night, take the make-up off, moistureise instead. It's silly really - no-one sees you! What you have to realise, is no-ones perfect. Haven't you seen the pictures of celebrities without makeup?! Another point: you can't change what you look like, you can only enhance it. So, experiment. Hairstyles, hairdyes, make-up, clothes! Go for it girl! Ugly doesn't actually exist - all you have is a 'thing' and two different opinions on it.

Now for the body problem. It's only going to become an eating disorder if you let it. YOU are in complete control of your body, mind and looks, no-one else. Therefore, if you don't want it to become one, you won't let it equals it doesn't happen. No-one is completely happy with their looks - Scarlett Johannson thought she was ugly when she was younger because she had big lips and a deep voice. Today, she still has big lips and a deep voice but has used it to her advantage. Don't look in the mirror and point out all your bad points, it really does make you feel worse. I think I have a bit of a tummy, but I'm slim at the same time so I'm stuffed! I have a swimming costume with tummy control and it works wonders! If you think you're too uncomfortable to go swimming in a bikini, there are loads of gorgeous swimming costumes. Gone are the times where swimming costumes are like a flower bed - mine's a lovely green with a halter neck. Don't make yourself wear a bikini if you know you're uncomfortable. Same with clothes, dress for your size. My mum gives me her old clothes (for a 50 year old, she's pretty trendy!) and she shops at all the teenage shops like New Look. She's a size 10 and I'm a size 8 so they're a little bit baggy (tiny bit) but I like it. Same with wearing my boyfriend's tshirts - a lot bigger than me! But I'm comfortable in them. Be comfortable with you are, don't try to be anyone else. Marilyn Monroe spent alot of her adult and childhood right up until her death not liking herself - she was riddled with selfconsiousness and we all know what she looked like! She was that paroniod she washed her face 10 times a day so she wouldn't get spots. So it goes to show, some people we think are the most beautiful people on earth feel ugly. Therefore, you could be one of those beautiful people! :)

  2. you should talk to your parents about this as they may be  able to get some help for you if they don't help you talk to your guidence cousler at school they are a big help I hope you feel better.

OH and by the way my name's Emily too !

  3. Get some consolling and try not to say this to your friends to much as they will get sick of it!

Talk to your mum about it as well!

    xoxo

  4. Well, what do you want help with? No one can change the way you feel about yourself, but YOU. It's called self-body image. If you feel your fat, then no matter what anyone says is going to change it.

If you want to feel better about yourself. Do something! You say you think your fat. Go on a healthy diet and exercise! You can't do one without doing the other. If you think your ugly, give yourself a make over! Go to the mall.. In some department stores, they can give you make overs and tell you which make-ups are perfect for you and your skin type, etc etc.

Eating disorders are all mentally about how you feel of yourself. It's really brave of you to say you're scared and want help. I hope you find it. Good luck!♥

  5. Try counselling or therapy or maybe hypnotherapy. Anti depressants may also help, but it may take a while to work for you.

Exercise, it makes you feel happy, eat healthily and take a good quality multi vitamin. Don't skip breakfast, it helps you concentrate and stops you feelng hungry. Good luck!

  6. You're going through the usual teen issues. Skipping breakfast is not the way to lose or maintain weight - it's a way to gain it without meaning to because it will put your body into "famine" mode to save up calories rather than burn them. Not snacking is fine - or choose snacks that burn easily and don't turn into fat, like nuts and fruit.

You obviously know you're not fat, so quit dwelling on that issue. As long as you get some exercise and don't gorge yourself, you'll be fine.

As for the makeup - wearing it to bed is about the best way I know of to ruin your skin, clogging the pores and resulting in a pizza face in the future. If you want to make the best of what you have, wear minimal makeup that emphasizes your eyes more than anything else, and make sure you get it all off before going to bed. That way you'll always look your best - makeup looks better on good skin than pocky skin.

Don't worry - you'll actually get more comfortable with who you are as you get a little older. Just make sure you look in a full-length mirror and are HONEST with yourself, then deal with any problem areas using good clothing lines, jazzy accessories, a good haircut that fits your face & lifestyle, and minimal makeup that emphasizes the good points of your face.

  7. Get help then. if you think you already have the start to a problem get it taken care of before it becomes bigger.
