my pet bird died today =*( iv been crying none stop i crying while im typing. my mum got me a new bird its a peild cockateil and i want it to be named after my pet bird connie my dad said no because ill cry wen i say his name so can u plz help me with some names that r named after connie plz

Or perhaps Connor?  Conrad?  Kenny?  Or for a girl, Kelly?  Perhaps a similar name.

Or name it something like rabbit just for the odd looks. Or just call it RIP.

Your old bird should have its own name so you can always remember it as Connie and not let any other bird have that name.  You could probably make Connie the middle name and just not say the middle name.  I can't really help you with the first name because I'm not very good with coming up with names.  But I named my cockatiel Tweety.

I am very sorry about your bird, I know how much that hurts but I think you should name this one something other than Connie.  Connie was special and she should be remembered always as "Connie."  Let your new friend have a name all of its own.  I love the name "Scooter" for a bird but that is just my opinion.
