  1. Go pesc. One type of vegetarian:

    1. Pescatarian (also spelled pescetarian)

The word “pescatarian” is occasionally used to describe those who abstain from eating all meat and animal flesh with the exception of fish. Although the word is not commonly used, more and more people are adopting this kind of diet, usually for health reasons or as a stepping stone to a fully vegetarian diet.

    i like fish and poultry.

  2. I make my own sushi. I have sticky rice and this neat little mold. I got it for a couple of bucks at a cooking store. You put in basically what you want in there [no meat or fish for me]. Right now I am starting with being an ovo-lacto vegetarian, and if I decide to get more strict I can. You can always try tofu too. For sushi, I often use these soy wrappers instead of seaweed. Theres a link in the sources to show that.

Also food-wise there are a lot of brands that have vegetarian foods. The ones I know of are Quorn and Morning Star.

So far this has been working out well for me. I've been a vegetarian for four months.

  3. You would still be a vegetarian if you ate sea food.

A vegetarian doesnt eat eggs or meat.

  4. true sushi has no meat. AT ALL

sashimi is a no no for strict vegitarian However some , do eat fish and chicken just no red meat or pork EVER.

  5. That's your natural body talking to you. Eat what you desire and live a healthy life. Every doctor (MD) tells you to eat a balanced diet that includes fish. Enjoy!

  6. make the sacrifice.

    i love bosten market!

    i love cheeseburgers

    i LOVE orange chicken!!

but i make the sacrifice and not eat it

  7. Be a "pescatarian" not a "vegetarian." Then you can continue eating fish.

  8. i have had plenty of maki rolls that have no animal or fish in them. You can keep enjoying sushi and not compromise your principles...

    Just keep it up.

    Cheers

    B

  9. 2 Ways.

Ween yourself out of it.  First no red meat, birds etc.  Eat less and less fish till you stop eating fish, eat vegi sushi, really good, with rice/veggies.

Or Cut it out completly, go straight to rice/veggie sushi, if your will power is strong try this method.

  10. I'm the same way, I love sushi.  My suggestion is to use good veggies that are already used in some sushi rolls like avocados, carrots, and cucumbers.  Veggie rolls are very good, I had some today.  And if you don't want to go out and watch other people eat delicious fish, then buy some seaweed and rice and make it yourself, it's pretty simple when you're just working with veggies.
