Im really very worried?? mucous plug?

Yesterday I noticed i had quite a bit of stringy discharge, like it was a clear white colour and was just very stringy, today I had more and it was very very slightly a pink/clear colour which was also very stringy. I am 27 weeks pregnant, do you think this is just discharge or my mucous plug? how can you tell im fidning it very hard to tell then difference between normal discharge and mucous plug. thankyou xx

It's a bit too early to lose your plug.  You should contact your Dr. when there's a change in your discharge.

It could just be a little bit of spotting with some discharge. I've heard that it's pretty obvious if your mucous plug is coming away, usually like a big glob (the size of a golf ball or bigger). Anyway, I'm not 100% sure on this but to me it sounds as though you could just have some extra discharge.

I would say call your dr to double check. Even though it could be weeks you give birth after losing your plug you don't want to take that chance and not contact your doctor. Better safe than sorry. Good luck!
