  1. no need to worry! My third baby got his first teeth at about 10 months, he got 2 very close to each other, then he was about 15 months before he got another! I thought he was never going to get anymore but he also looked really cute!!

  2. No need to worry.  The average age to START teething is 6 months to a year.  There is no rhyme or reason to how quickly they pop in, even once teething has begun!  Every kid is different.  :)

  3. Well that is true, but dont freak out.  EVERY baby is different.  If you are worried this much about it then i would suggest you talking to the babies pediatrician about it.  They will be able to calm your fears and give you the information you need.

Have you started giving him any teething helpers?  Like the Gerber Biter Biscuits or the Zweiback toast?  Well if not, these are great things to try.  Thats how my daughter got most of her teeth in.  They are in the baby finger food isle.  They are just little toasts and cookies for them to hold in their own hand and gnaw on.  That helps the teeth that are already coming in, get thru all the way,  and stimulates the gums so the other ones can come in also.

Just watch the baby with them while they eat.  When it gets down to the end of the cookie or toast, my always just put the whole end in her mouth and would choke. So i just took it away when there was only an inch left.

  4. i think you need to stop reading and then you will be less stressed. I used to constantly stress about my baby when i used to check things on the internet and be part of forums and all that stuff but since i have stopped i feel much more relaxed and enjoy my daughter more as im no longer worried about what she is or is not doing. She didnt get her first teeth till about 9 months and her next one probably didnt come till after she turned one. Each kid is different and thats what u have to remember.

  5. As a new mother it can be easy to worry about everything. This however is at the bottom of the list of things that are most alarming. As always the usual answer will be, all babies are different. And that is correct. Most babies have their first two top and bottom for awhile, some get them in as early as 3 months and some dont get them in until as late as 9-10 months or even sometimes later. More teeth should be popping in around 12-15 months. If it is really a big concern to you, call your child's ped, and ask them. They will ease your mind.

  6. Relax, and stop reading -- your doctor would tell you if something was really wrong!  My niece just turned 1 yesterday and still only has 2 teeth.  There's no set time for babies teeth to come in.  They'll come when they're ready

  7. Don't stress they will come in time. My daughter cross cut most of her teeth, took forever to get them and had her incisors before her top front teeth. She got her 1st tooth at 8m25d and didn't get her front tops until 19mths Every child is different and books are only a guide. So please don't worry. I was always told the longer they take the longer it would be for them to loose them. I found this to be right!

  8. There's really no need to worry at all. Every baby is different and some will get lots of teeth all at once whereas others will get one or two teeth and then nothing for a long time. Your baby is an individual and his teeth will pop up when they're good and ready. Books generally tend to rely on averages and in this case, your baby isn't average, he's an individual!

  9. noooooooooooo. ruby got her first two teeth at 7 1/2 months. then she got two more 4 months later at 11 1/2 months. at about 13 months, she gor two molars, and since then has been getting one after the other after the other. there is no real pattern -- every kid is different. NOTHING to worry about.
