I&#039;d call it an accent wall.  Just paint some different colored squares.

It&#039;s called paint. Lay down your base color first (like white or whatever you are going to use). Then get some blue tape for painting and mark out the squares. Paint inside and voila!

If you don&#039;t want to paint but would like to achieve a similar look I would go look at Bed, Bath and Beyond, or Pier 1, or some other similar store and check out your options. But in the pic, that was simply done with paint.
