Im sad, I had a dog awhile back, now we have a bird and its not acting right...?

I need to know quickly before somthing happens, my bird its name is Luvvy and it was a happy birdy and now we've had it for say a year. It's a budgie (Paraqueet) And now its always making these growling noises, and i wanna know whats wronge, cause it was never a bighter now its biting me and my mother, please answer, is it sick? And its also been molting ALOT! It has a lil bit of balness over the top of his nosterals, so please answer :[

  1. If the change in your bird has happened suddenly, then yes, take it to the avian vet. I would most certainly be concerned about the change in attitude and the baldness. Aggression in birds can be triggered by pain, I would see a vet ASAP.

    If you haven't handled the bird in some months and it is now aggressive, then it is possible that it has become "wild" again.

    But I highly doubt this is so. Your best bet is to take him/her to the vet to figure out why the sudden change in behavior.

  2. The problem could be the dog, food, anything thats new. Idk about the baldness part. Best thing is try changing foods or something or contact the vet. Hope that helped.
