Im saudi and im studying in the uk and im going to dublin for 2 days do i need a visa and why??

i have a uk student visa that ends on october and schengen visa that ends on 2008 do i needa visa and why ???

The Republic of Ireland is not part of the UK so will be subject to its own regulations. A UK visa would only be applicable for Northern Ireland. But having said that, you might not need a visa. You would need to check with the your countries consulate, the Irish embassy for your country, or since you are currently in the Uk - the Visa Office in the  Department of Foreign Affairs  in Dublin.

Ireland is not part of the schengan visa so don't be miss lead by that answer....you can travel to northern Ireland but the republic has its own visa regulations check with the embassy first

As you mentioned you have a valid Schengen visa. Ireland is part of the Schengen countries. Then you should be able to get to Ireland with your Schengen visa.
