Ok, so me and my boyfriend live together, and hes behind on his rent.

And he has a lot of speeding tickets he hasnt paid off.

And just a couple of seconds ago, the sherrif knocked really loud on my door, and I answered it.

Im really really scared, he was looking for my boyfriend.

WHAT DO YOU THINK HE WANTS?

Is he going to arrest him? Or is he going to just tell him he is evicted? Please help me out here..

  1. If was going to evict you he'd be doing it,  he wants to talk to him involving the tickets or other new illigel behavior,  Likely with the hard door knock he was there to arrest him.

It's quite possible your BF is on the run right now.

  2. If he was coming to arrest, you think there would be more than one, so I  think he was serving a paper for eviction or cout appearance

  3. It depends on what type of notices he has received through the mail?  Has he been warned about anything?  And if you were evicted they would put a notice on your front door.  Nothing legally happens without several warnings first...so someone (either you or him) have a good idea what it must be about.

  4. I have an idea, why dont you go get a job and help him pay the bills?

Ok, now i know this is made up - your boyfriend is behind on the rent, BUT you live alone - wtf? get your story straight

  5. Mind reading 101....  Hmmmm... If he was going to evict you, then you would be booted out right now....  Guess he's gotta lil warrant for his arrest.....

Just tell him to go to court and take care of it... In the meantime, think about looking into E Harmony or Match.com cause you need to lose a loser or you will continuously lose until you are lost.

  6. You should have asked him what the charges are. If the sheriff comes to the door, something more serious than traffic tickets are involved. Yes, he could have come to evict him.

Why are you staying with this deadbeat? Surely you can do better.

  7. Yeah it's never a good thing when a cop knocks on your door, but he may have just been serving papers.  Your bf needs to get his head on straight and you need to find a new man!

  8. Deportation.

  9. It depends on your state.....

If he's MONTHS behind on the rent (far enough behind for your state), then he could be showing up for eviction proceedings. Otherwise, he may be serving an arrest warrant for multiple failures to appear - depending on how many speeding cites.

    Calif Deputy

  10. He wants the money your boyfriend owes.

  11. he is there to serve him a warrant to appear before a judge..The only way he is getting out of it is having the money the day of the hearing for the tickets..Good luck!!
