Im scared he's gonna come and get me!?

me and my friends were on this chatroom for fun, and we were saying we were from london which is a lie...we talked and talked to this guy and all of a sudden he says, oh hows_____(the city i live in). and he says oh why did u lie to me i know u live in ______.

Im really scared cuz after that he asked if he could come over, and one of my stupid friends said yes. then he logged off.

Is it possible he found out my address, I am really scared that he is coming here or that he found out where i live...is it possible??? and what should i do??

If he's really good at IT, maybe he got something from your IP adress. Tell your parents about it.

That's why, when they ask me for my surname on free webs I always give fakes, and for surnames stuff like 'Youdunedtono'  :D same for adress, I just give fakes if adress is nescessary...

You can try calling the police if you are really freaked out. O.o make sure you aren't going to be weird with those again.

Thats really scary....U should NEVER talk to strangers in chatrooms....EVER! And yes its possible, creepy petofiles can find a way....well is there an adult anywhere near? If there is, tell ur parents or call them or something!! Or maybe it could just be one of your friends playing a trick on u and ur friends...and it was VERY stupid of ur friend to say yes....but im not sure how he would find ur address....did u put it on any profiles? I dont know!! GOOD LUCK!!

answer this question to yourself. did you send him a picture of yourself or did he send you a picture? was there any webcam sharing on either side, yours or his? if you answered yes to any of these you have what is called a trojan. you need to report this. a trojan is where the other party can gain control and access of everything on your computer. address, telephone etc. your ip address acts like a fingerprint tracking that once it is known is not very hard. please be carefull

You need to first tell your parents and call the police if need be so they can do some drive bye's on your street. I hope you have learned a valuable lesson and never chat to strangers giving out anything personal. There are A LOT of pedophiles and criminals that use the internet.

the one lady is right about the IP address, but its not likley he will be showing up at your house. think about it.. if it was very easy to say exactually were you live, then every creep on the net who wants to get someone would be at there door now.. am i right?  the only way he would know just were you live is if you told him your address to a tee..

he is just trying to spook you and it worked, so let this be a lesson learned and dont mess with people on the net that you do not know.

You may have slipped and said something indicating where you llive w/o realizing it.  Computers have IP addresses which COULD tell who you are, etc. if they have the computer brains....which is why...drumroll....you should NOT be chatting with peopple you dont know.  There are reasons for all the warnings.  You shoudl NOT go back on that chatroom and if you decide to anyway, change your login name.
