  1. Don't hang out around people that you think might start a school shooting.

If you have any information or concerns regarding anyone, report it.

As to what will happen if this happens to you, I don't know, you get shot?

  2. i might not be of much help as i live in england and so far, thank god nothing like that has happened.

although i have seen and heard of these shootings on the news.

its normal to be scared, even i was and i don't live there.

there is always going to be a what if but try to not let it get you down.

talk to your parents about it, who then will talk to your teachers.

your school will make every security measure

    (:

  3. run inside and cry a lot it will be a battle scream and the shooters will be stunned, then use your level 20 paladin hammer skills to beat them down.

  4. The best thing you can do (besides having a bodyguard) is to talk to your school principal.  Tell him about your concerns.  And ask him/her what's being done to prevent something like this happening.

  5. Shootings in school are very rare, but they do receive a lot of publicity./ Almost all schools are safe./

  6. Lightning never strikes twice. So those shootings you just watched make you safer.

  7. It is very unlikely that it will happen and if it does just cooperate and to help prevent it you would need to stop someone from bullying and make many friends and no enemies.

  8. thats dumb

  9. NOOO it will be fine please i hate high school

  10. i also have done research on that to because i was interested. i think i read that mentally disturbed people will often do it more then ur normal bullied people. just be nice to everyone dont cause fights otherwise your first!.

  11. Don't worry honey!! All kids go through this, don't watch that scary stuff! Those are at schools that aren't controlled well, and I'm sure your school is safe. When I was a kid, my principal said that he worked at a school that had jail bars and cameras and security guards. I'm pretty sure that's not your school!

  12. You should be more worried about other things, I was more afraid of getting my pants pulled down in gym class.

  13. Only if there was a lunatic in your school then i'd be scared.

  14. Buy a gun.

  15. I understand the fear as a teacher it is concerning to all.  Just realize these are not everywhere and schools are taking a lot more precautions because of these shootings to protect all that are in the school.  Many of the precautions are not told to the students but to teachers for their safety.

  16. Don't bully other kids. Never sit with with your back to the door of a room in school so you can see them coming and if they do run in zigzag and leave the room. Or wear a vest.

  17. The chances are VERY slim. Just don't think about it. If it does happen at your highschool, you can't do anything about it when it happens. So try and live life to the fullest. ;)

  18. Ummm you can try transferring to a different/Better school

Or you can hang out with good people and go home early :]

  19. be prepared, not scared.

  20. those shootings mostly happen in colleges....lol. so don't be worried until then. All I can say is try to worry about the greater things in life...like what if my mom gets cancer? how do i pay for college? what is my future career going to be/is this something I will be happy doing for a while?

Even so, my point is that life is too short to worry about these kinds of things. High schoolers die...whether it is in a shooting, an overdose, or a car accident (RIP-Kallie). Older people die from shootings too. Life is life...the only thing you really can do is hide in your house for the rest of your life or become really rich and install a very high security fence and all the technological works. :)

  21. If you live in  fear every where you go you will never really live a good life.  Just a lot of Anxiety!  You'll be fine.  I send my kids to school how scarry do you think that is for a mother.  But I do it for them!

  22. stop watching.

  23. go to a school that has had incidents of shootings

reasoning: the security will be tighter at a school with a prior criminal act

  24. your like one of those ppl who like whenever they get on a plane they worry their gonna be shot down by terrorists arent u? u know almost a third of school shooting wud go down if the kids who were aware it was gonna happen or even just heard about it repeorted it? just do that if u hear anything u think is suspicious, bring and extra pair of tidy whities with u un case u wet ur pants, and go back to friggin school

  25. Mate; there are shootings and stabbings and violence everywhere; not just at schools... if you start being scared of going to school; very soon you'll be cooped up in your house; shaking like a leaf when the doorbell rings... Man up and face what the world throws at you... Death is only a part of life; don't let it rule you.

  26. Go to the projects in Atlantic City, or venture on to Tamarind avenue in Palm Beach, FL.  If you make it out alive, then going to school will be a breeze.

Another alternative would be to realize that school shooting represent a very small percentage of adolescent deaths per year, even though I agree they are senseless and tragic.

When your time's up it's up, plain and simple.  Learn to live in the moment rather than wasting what could be good times worrying about things that are unlikely to happen to you and that you don't have much control over anyway.

  27. Realize that it probably won't happen. If anything, I would say befriend that crazy kid who you think might bring a gun. That way, he let you go.

  28. U Cant Let **** Effect You Livin Your Life..Go 2 School.Get Your Education..Get Out...

  29. Serious violent crimes in U.S. schools has been on a steady decline since 1994.  What has increased is the 24-hour 24-channel news cycle that thrives on terrorizing viewers with violence (you can't blame them, violence increases viewership which generates ad revenue).  But in reality, you are significantly safer today than you would have been a decade ago.
