Im scared of a Dr????????

Question

Everytime i ask a Dr a question about a operation he did to me he looks at me angry and makes me think hes going to bite my head off and yell at me! He wants me to say yes to everythink he says to me and if i dont he gets angry. He scares me im not happy with what he did to me and i want to ask questions about it but he doesnt like it Is this normal for a Dr to act like this Could someone please tell me Thanks

First of all, what kind of operation was it?  No, it is not normal for a doctor to act that way.  Most doctors value second opinions.  If you are experiencing problems, I would consult another physician.  If your first doctor gets angry or mad, so be it.  It is YOUR health, not HIS.  Good luck.

No. Time to get another doctor. I have doctors that will explain everything to me no matter what. He will even give me material to read to help understand or phone # or web site. Change the doctor you have.

No, it is not normal, but sadly, not all that uncommon. If you want to ask him anything, you have the right to do so. Why not take a friend, your mother or someone you trust with you in to the appointment. That is your right as well. I bet his attitude changes. The only other thing you can do is change doctors and have someone else evaluate what has been done.
