  1. my husband always told me that, "when you dont know something, ask"

and by asking, you learn. so what if you didnt know the answer, sure its embarrassing, but think about it, you learned something new.

people make mistakes to learn from them.

so next time if youre stuck, ask for help, teachers are there to teach and help you. dont be afraid darling =]

  2. You HAVE to go to school  For many people, like you and me, school was rotten.  I hated it because I was a lousy runner in gym (short legs), I was starting to lose my hair when I was 16, and I hated hated hated being there.

But guess what, I got through it and now it's over and I went to college and that was much easier, mostly because the kids were more mature, and now I'm happy with myself and everything.

Just stay close friends with one person and she will help you get through it.

  3. I suspect that one of the reasons you were not able to come up with something is because you were nervous. I find that trying to come up with something original while in front of an audience can be very trying. I do think that the teacher should have taken your feelings into consideration and should not have put you in that position. If something like that happens again, you could speak to the teacher after class and explain your feelings to him.

On the other hand, if you find nervousness coming in your way when you're put on the spot, try taking a few deep breaths to clear your mind.

Also, you have to have some confidence in yourself. A few wrong answers or embarrassing school moments should not bring you down to the point where you don't want to go back. Frankly, a lot of people have embarrassing moments in school at some point. The difference is that some people make the mistake of allowing those moments to define them, while others wisely use those experiences to build their strength of character.

I'm sure you can be like those of the second category.

  4. I'm sorry that you were embarrassed, but remember that you are in school to learn.  You're not supposed to have all the facts.

I know that you feel bad about the incident, but I guarantee that your peers don't remember at all.  It just feels so bad because it happened to you.

    Good luck!
