    "The Hero and The Coward.  They both feel the same.  They are both scared.  But it's what the hero does that makes him a hero!"

    By the way, "going nuts" is not going to help you if you are boxing.  You don't want to get crazy.  You want to be composed and relaxed so you can execute your gameplan!


  2. That was a statement, not a question. So I'm not really sure what you want me to tell you.

    Everyone gets a little nervous before a fight. If they didn't, they wouldn't fight as well. Being uneasy causes your body to release adrenaline as part of the fight or flight response, and adrenaline is a good thing for the fighter.

    Being scared is a different thing. See, if you are nervous about a fight that means you may have doubts or uncertainties (don't know if you can win, might get hurt, ect.) If you are scared, you are straight up afraid to fight because you are worried you WILL lose or WILL get hurt. There isn't much uncertainty, and you've already stepped in to the fight with an awful mindset.

    As far as not being able to fight until you "go nuts", thats probably the worst time to be able to fight. When you "go nuts", technique, both defensive and offensive goes out the window. You will throw crappy punches, and block like you only have one arm.

    A good fighter is a calculated and efficent K.O. machine. He knows that he don't need to waste his energy throwing useless punches, so he lets his opponent do that. He doesn't haul balls into his opponent and start swinging crazy. He takes his time for a while and picks at the guy until his opponent leaves himself open for a massive punch.
