I`m scared to go to America?

cause of al the bad things I hear on the news like people getting shot and stuff,Ameicans: is it more dangorous than Australia would you say? whats the safest place in America?

I live in South Carolina in America. The worse thing that has happened in SC that I know of, was the missing of the Couple in Hilton Head,SC. There are some Crazy Places in America. Depends on Where you are Headed to in America then we can help you.

It's not really any more dangerous than any other country.  Most shootings are gang-related (atleast near where I live).  As a general rule cities have higher crime rates, but it's because more people are living in a more concentrated area.  You should come over here...it's a great place. :-)

That's the thing about america. We don't like people who have fear. This is the place that people's only fear is fear. If your scared then, don't come. You will stand out. It isn't called the " home of the brave" for nothing.

There is no place in America that is "safe" as in living in an incubator.  We are very much an individualistic society, sad to say, to the point that we have a hard time acting as a cohesive group.  We think of ourselves first, and others about 1,000 places below that.  You can get shot here, by mean people and by people defending themselves, their families or their property.  We have a Second Amendment in our Constitution that states clearly that we have a right to own and keep firearms, and even the democrats can't keep that away from us, hard as they might try.  So, if you're afraid to come here, then maybe you shouldn't.  We don't cater to anyone, sad to say, even though we have bragged "Brotherly Love".  Safest place in America??  No place.  And I was born here over 56 years ago, and have lived here all my life.  Sorry I can't say much better for us, but, it's reality, and it sucks.  God Bless you.

I've lived here my whole life, 32 years and have never been shot. In fact, I don't know anyone that's ever been shot. There are lots of safe places. There are safe places in every state. I mean there are bad neighborhoods everywhere but there are plenty of good ones too. What part of the US are you going to?

Being from Texas I would say go to: Dallas, Austin, the reast are *******.  Go to New Orleans it's a great city still rebuilding.  Great people.
