  1. well chances are most people dont tuck in there shirts even though they are supposed to but if they do make you tuck in your shirt heres some advice...where your pants(if your allowed to wear them) really low below your hips and no one will notice that your underwear is showing

  2. Uniforms are the worst! Although it does keep you from having to worry about how your clothes compare. Your best bet is to find a way that you can dress up your look while still sticking to the dress code. Try out some lip gloss, jewelery, hair accessories, or a cute belt (if allowed). Try to be outgoing and nice and you will make friends soon enough.

  3. No one will tuck in their shirt.. Just so you know.

Secondly, if you're going to be new at the school, are there going to be other new kids? Because that makes meeting new people and going to the school new a whole lot easier.

  4. i know the same experience well practically. in my school we don't have uniforms. but anyway i don't go there full time. see im homeschooled. and i just go there for a couple classes. but you just go up to ppl and you gotta brave it.

  5. Be nice to people. Ask them questions about themselves, and generally try to get along.

Do anything you can to thwart the uniform without getting noticed. Uniforms are a tool of enforced conformity - putting on your body what they're trying to put in your mind. Don't let them do either!

Remember that school isn't real life, and ten years from now when you're done with college, what happened in 8th grade will mean exactly nothing, to you or anyone else, so above all, don't worry about it!

Just have fun with it, do what you need to do to pass your classes, and don't stress - it's not worth it and they don't deserve that much devotion out of you.

If you feel like it, some helpful things to read over the summer:

Dale Carnegie: "How to Win Friends and Influence People" (This is seriously a handbook of street-level psychology. VERY helpful.)

John Caldwell Holt: "Escape From Childhood" and "Instead of Education" (When I say school isn't real life, these are why. Free your mind.)

  6. Walk in the first day with your shirt tucked in like the nerds that probably go to that school, and look as hot as humanly possible.... don't let anyone give you c**p

  7. Just pretend you know them and make casual conversations with them like hi, name, hobbies etc.

  8. There is no need to be scared you will get used to it and make lots of new friends. (same at my school)
