what is a faucet? i know its something in a shower but i dont know what. Im from a very non posh area in west belfast a place called ballymurphy & a friend of mine was talking about a faucet and i never new what she was talkin about. will someone please tell me what it is?

  1. That is so funny you used the word scundered.  I haven't heard that in years! I grew up in west belfast and I used to hear it all the time.  

    A faucet is what the americans call a tap...so like the taps in the bath and kitchen / bathroom sink.  When I moved to America it took me forever to catch onto most the words over here.
