Im searching for a TV to put in my room for xbox, but all the tv's i look at are.......?

All the TV's i look at are flat screens, im looking for some good cheap boxy TV, not the new flat screen Tv's that are every expensive. I dont know what the good ol' boxy ones are called though, any help??

Personally i like samsung tv..You can have a look at Samsung LN46A550 46" LCD TV ..The lowest price i find for it is only $1270.

You should go check out a pawn shop, they usually have a bunch of tv's. be sure that they have tested them and they are in working order.

Boxy TVs are called Cathode Ray Tube TVs, or CRT TVs.  Generally, you can't find them anymore, because they are outdated.  I would suggest looking in secondhand electronics shops, but just make sure they're reputable.

You can also try Wal Mart or another retail store like that rather than Best Buy or Circuit City, because the higher end electronics stores are only interested in providing the latest technology, which would be the flat screens.

Consider looking at a pawn shop or thrift store if all you want is a cheapie, though it won't have a digital tuner for the Feb. 09 switch.

You are thinking of a tube tv. Check out your local big box electronics store. They'll have one or two models or you can order online and have it sent to the store.

Not sure what that "boxy" ones are called but you should check your local pawn shops. You could probably get one pretty cheap there.
