Im so P*SSED banquet crockpot classics need advice?

so I spent over an hour making this b.c i thought it would be easy well it started to burn so instead of using it with the crockpot i switched to stovetop is that safe?

You spent an hour? All you're supposed to do is dump it into the crockpot, pour hot water over it and walk away.

Sure, you can cook it on the stovetop if you keep the heat extremely low.
