Im so embarrassed what should I do?

I just moved high schools and the classes at my new high school are all year, but at my old high school we switch classes when half the school year is over. So I took french last year and passed and my new school put me on French 2. I learned only half of what French 2 students learned since I only had half a year of french. When ever the teacher calls on me I stutter my french and can't understand anything that shes saying. We can't change classes anymore and I already told her about it. Im also learning how to write and speak japanese which is a requirement in the career im choosing after high school. My crush is also in that class and im embarrassed so many times in the class because the students start to stare at me INCLUDING HIM. I feel like the stupid one.

Hey don't feel dumb.

I am in Pre-AP Spanish 2 and I felt dumb too.

Just don't panic. That's what my teacher told us.

In like a week, I was starting to get what she was saying to us. So take it easy for a week and if you still can't ask the administration to put you in French 1. Don't worry its not the 'dumb' class. So many of my friends just LOVE Spanish 1 because they get to learn and goof off at the same time.

You need to have parent(s) discuss this with the principal and demand you be placed in the appropriate class.

Your not stupid but you are behind the others so how about doing a bit of extra study in your own time. Maybe team up with one of the other students who has done the full year and get some help.

If you put in the effort you can soon catch up and then the problem goes away.
