Im so embarressed from my dad?

Question

my dad always catches me in these little things all the time.

the latest catch of the month was a couple weeks ago i made these videos of my on raggedyanne doll and i wasnt in it, just the doll and i was making it for my friend because he was depressed and i was practically trying to get a couple laughs out of him you know? im 15. yes i curse and know about s*x and lalalalala. my dad needed to use my laptop to transfer something to his laptop and he saw the video? and he was like 'who made the raggedy anne video?' and i was like I did......

he was like 'you actually said that at the ending?' and i was like what? and he was like watch it again and youll see? i havent watched it in like three weeks so i really so forget everything i said. he didnt seem mad... but like i know he probally thinks of me differently again! im not going to watch the video because i really dont want to know what i said now.... i know he has some ****** up perspection of me....and everytime i probally gain it back something else always has to happen..... advice? thanks in advance

Your Dad is asking you to grow up and take responsibility for your words and deeds.  When you feel uncomfortable because you think he is disappointed in you that is your more mature side trying to tell you that you know better than that.  You will never live up to all his expectations because the world is changing so fast for kids your age.  You know more, have seen more and experienced more than he ever could have at the same age.  The rub is that you are not more mature than he was at that age and haven't the skills or experience to appreciate how other people can be affected by your words or deeds.  Talk to your dad about this and let him tell you how he feels.  You can share this answer with him and I bet that you both will be able to understand each other better and trust each other with your feelings more than you could before.

oh Hope! its ok. we all do these things but the thing you have to remember is that your dad loves you. youre 15 so youre not a naive little girl anymore. it seems like your dad is pretty cool because he wasnt mad or anything. i think you should go and watch the video, i have a feeling that it isnt as bad as you think it is.
